Quantum chaotic phenomena are characterized by the exponential growth of the perturbation and disruption of entanglement in atypical states. Such a disruption of the entanglement between subsystems is characterized by the “scrambling time” which is the amount of time taken to destroy the mutual information between two subsystems due to a perturbation of few degrees of freedom.
