Begin by justifying the definition of quantum entanglement and explaining how it relates to Bell’s inequality. Following that, describe the notions of pure and mixed states, Schmidt decomposition, and the basic axioms that all entanglement measures are expected to obey in quantum information theory. Subsequently, define entanglement entropy and some of its basic properties. Finally, discuss its computation in some simple Qubit examples.
