We shall discuss about the most important physics results obtained with the data collected by CMS at the Large Hadron Collider. The main focus of the talk, however, will be to describe how the CMS experiment is upgrading the sub-detectors, trigger system and computing for the Hig Luminosity phase of the Large Hadron Collider which will begin operation in 2029.
