One day “Brain Storming Session on Materials and Mechanisms for Avionics: Current and Future Trends” – Dr. Rajat Banerjee – 01 March 2025
Technological advancement of missile materials are the need of the hour and hence to understand the advancement of missile material in defense environment all over the world, RCI (Research Centre Imarat), DRDO, Hyderabad has organized a one day “Brain Storming Session on Materials and Mechanisms for Avionics: Current and Future Trends” on 1 st March 2025. Dr. S. V. Kamat Chairman, DRDO and Dr. A. Biswas, Director RCI was present during the entire lecture session. I was invited as one of the research persons in this conference.
The conference was divided into three segments
- Session-I Mechanics
- Session-II Energy Materials
- Session-III Supersonic and Hypersonic Materials
The lecture from Prof. (Dr) Rajat Banerjee from RKMVERI on the “Development of Radome Technology in India- A path for Self-Reliant in Missile Manufacturing” was one of the best presentation highlighting the past present and future material for Radome manufacturing. The presentation concluded by highlighting the future Radome Material which India needs to work immediately so as to be the front runner in supersonic and hypersonic missile materials. Dr. Kamat handed over a memento to Prof. (Dr) Rajat Banerjee for this impactful presentation.
