Teaching
- Regular teaching in and outside the home institute. Courses taken (for pre-PhD Post MSC (PMSc) students include particle physics, quantum mechanics, astroparticle physics etc. Outside the institute – Special paper (Astroparticle physics) for MSc at St Xavier’s College Kolkata, Quantum Mechanics (MSc) at Presidency University etc.
- Delivered courses on Dark Matter, neutrinos, astroparticle physics in various Schools organised by relevant authorities.

Organised various national (and international) conferences and workshops such as AAPCOS (conf. series), WIN07 etc. Organised SERC Main School in Theoretical High Energy Physics as School director, September, 2012. Also organised outreach programmes for school and college students.
Contribution to National/International issues
- Involved in theoretical aspects of a project related to Dark matter detection at Jaduguda Underground Science Laboratory (JUSL) at Jaduguda. It mainly invololved the Physics issues of the said experiment and finding out the bounds on dark matter mass and cross-sections given the background and threshold of the detector.
- Involved in the neutrino project India-based neutrino observatory or INO. Detector simu-lations and physics issues related to ICAL (iron calorimeter) detector at INO are pursued.
- Involved in study (theoretically) of new physics effects on neutrino oscillation physics at a future long baseline neutrino experiment namely ESSSB project (European Spallation Source Neutrino Superbeam) collaboration as external member.
