REPORT
Seminar-Workshop: Seminar on ‘Spectral Geometry and Further more’ by Deeponjit Bose (PhD Scholar, Jagiellonian University, Poland) – 23 September 2026

Type: Seminar-Workshop – Seminar
Event Date: 23 Sep 2026

Venue: Department Seminar Hall, PB-MS-102
Campus: Belur Campus
Department: Physics

A brief overview of the origins of spectral geometry and discuss what this framework can lead to. I will then introduce spectral triples and explain how spectral geometry provides a new perspective on noncommutative geometry. Finally, I will conclude the talk by presenting some of our recent results on the asymmetric noncommutative 2-torus  (arXiv:2511.15539) and some ongoing works.
