REPORT
Seminar-Workshop: Seminar on ‘Quantum Complexity in Many-Body Systems ‘ by Arkaprava Sil (IIT/ISM, Dhanbad) – 20 January 2026
Type: Seminar-Workshop – Seminar
Event Date: 20 Jan 2026
Venue: Department Seminar Hall, PB-MS-102
Campus: Belur Campus
Department: Physics

Entanglement has long been used to study complexity structure and unravel many features in quantum circuits, many-body systems as well as field theories. In recent times, nonstabilizerness or “magic” is also studied in these systems to get a more deeper understanding. I shall be discussing about what is meant by nonstabilizerness, its importance and its measure – the Stabilizer Renyi Entropy (SRE).
